Find ways to target cancers
Which differences in cancer cells could provide opportunities to target them while limiting harm to healthy tissue?
Research
Our research begins with three goals: identify differences that expose cancer cells to treatment, test ways to destroy or remove them while limiting harm to healthy tissue, and reduce pain and treatment burden. Automated experiments can shorten the time between a promising idea, a measured result and the next test.
What we are working towards
Automated methods let researchers repeat an experiment across many parameter sets while recording every step and measurement.
Genetics defines the biological differences to investigate. Robotics, sensors, artificial intelligence and cloud computing expand how many conditions scientists can test and compare.
Which differences in cancer cells could provide opportunities to target them while limiting harm to healthy tissue?
Which approaches could destroy or remove cancer, and what evidence would show how well they work?
How could an approach work more quickly, cause less pain and place less strain on the person receiving it?
Where could better measurements, faster analysis and easier collaboration reduce delays between discovery, testing and treatment?
